Choo Choo

Here's my first homework for my Perspective class. It's an isometric design, meaning there is no vanishing point, everything is symmetrical, like these older role playing games. The first one is the inked line drawing, second is sun-lit, and the third with a light source. Enjoy.

Charcoal Studies

Some quick studies of the back and torso, done in charcoal. The first ones are 5 minutes sketches, then 20 mins, then 40 mins, then again 20 mins. Gotta get down that back action.

Kisi the Cat

Comic artist Hugleikur Dagsson held a drawing contest in celebration of his new comic "Kisi, the one-eyed cat, and the secret". I drew couple of pictures and sent him and won!
My drawings will be featured in his new comic and I will also get a T-Shirt! Yay!

Sketch-o-mat

A little bit of character development for the comic I'm writing in my spare time...

Also, I've done a little layout fixing on my portfolio website, so feel free to check that out (there's a link over there to the right). Anyhow, some pretty awesome stuff on the way, so be sure to check in regularly. Until then, later.

HP

Here's something I did this summer when the 7th and final Harry Potter book came out. It was for a drawing contest which I got 1st price. Sweet. (painted in photoshop)

Fishmarket

A new restaurant just opened in Reykjavík called Fishmarket. I was commissioned to do a design to be put on two big glass walls at the entrance. Here is the design and some photographs of the actual pieces.

San Francisco

Ayo!

So I arrived to San Francisco yesterday. It was sunny and warm and I immediately put on my shorts and took a walk down town. It's good to be back and I'm excited to start a fresh new semester full of drawing and awesomeness.

I had some exciting projects during the summer, but I will tell you about them later. Now I need to unpack and settle in my room.

Here's a sketch I did for my brother.

Later,
Paac.
