I feel like I'm kinda getting the hang of using pastels, it's been a fun semester. These are one hour drawings. We had our models dressed as (hot) mythical beings. Three weeks left of the semester. Finals, here we go. I'm adding some photoshop doodles, testing a new brush:

Baby City

Baby City is a project I'm doing in my Visual Development class. We take a story and develop all the visuals for it. I'm doing a short story by J. Ævar Grímsson about an unlucky bachelor. Above are the storybeats, some key moments in the story. Focusing on clear staging. I've painted the first half in value for the lighting, but I'm just gonna do the rest as color keys. Then maybe I'll take some and paint them bigger if I have time. Below are the key characters in the story..

I just got this new sketchbook, its panoramic, pretty cool. These are just some quick sketches around town, coffee shops, workshops etc..
